An Easter egg hunt in aid of Datchet Night Shelter is happening at the Village Hall in Allen Way on Easter Sunday.
The Night Shelter is based in St Mary's Church on The Green, Datchet and has opened its doors for as many as 20 homeless guests every Friday night through the winter.
The hunt will run from from 1pm to 3.30pm and has been arranged by a Datchet resident, Katie Mosely.
The event is aimed at children aged 10 and under. After hunting for their own chocolate eggs, they can take part in an Easter bonnet parade and a fundraising raffle.
The best bonnets will be judged by the Easter Bunny on the day, with the winner receiving a prize.
Residents are encouraged to bring small change for an accompanying cake sale and refreshment stall.
All the easter egg prizes have been kindly donated by the local Tesco.
Tickets are £5 per child, with the full amount going towards the night shelter. Purchase your tickets at Eventbrite on: https://tinyurl.com/y85n2dgk.
