Thugs who terrorised a passenger on a train before following him off and assaulting him are being hunted by police.

The attack happened on Thursday, March 17 between 6.45pm and 7pm.

The victim got onto the train at Slough, where a large group of men abused and pushed him on the journey to Paddington.

When he got off they followed him onto the concourse where they punched and kicked him.

The man received minor injuries to his face and was left with swelling and bruising to the cheek.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who travelled on the service and witnessed the incident on the train or on the concourse.

The group of men are described as being in their 20s to early 40s.
