Jobs under threat at Pioneer

EmailMORE than 100 local jobs could be at risk as a electronics company aims to axe 10,000 jobs worldwide.
Pioneer's Slough headquarters in Hollybush Hill, Stoke Poges, currently employees 110 workers including accountants admin and marketing staff.
A spokeswoman said: "We do not know at this moment how many job losses there will be.
"But I am sure it will affect jobs at the Slough branch as the company goes through a
restructure."
The firm is set to pull out of the flat-screen TV market by March next year and predicts a record annual loss. The Japanese firm, employs 37,000 people worldwide.
