Print | Email

A GERMAN woman has jetted over to help solve problems in Slough.

Pia Thattamannil arrived in the town last week to work with conflict resolution charity Aik Saath in Church Street, Slough.

The 26-year-old is supporting training sessions in the borough's schools and young people's centres where she teaches youngsters skills to promote peace and resolve problems.

Project development worker Rob Deeks said: "Already she is proving to be a great role-model for the young people of Slough. She is a hard worker and everyone at Aik Saath has great confidence that she will have a really positive impact on the young people that she works with."
