FIREFIGHTERS were called to extricate a man from his overtipped van in the Slough Trading Estate on Saturday morning.

Two appliances from Slough station attended the scene of the crash, which occurred on Edinburgh Avenue at about 8am.

Cutting gear was used to free the sole male occupant of the van, who was transported to hospital with suspected spinal injuries.

Police believe the van ended up on its side after hitting a parked car, but are still investigating.
