Ignore leaflet says Slough Borough Council

SLOUGH Borough Council has moved to quell resident worries over a leaflet claiming North Slough will become a fictional area called South Poges.
Residents along Stoke Road yesterday found the leaflet pushed through their doors saying that the area would be changed and that people there would be cut off from Slough.
The leaflet also carried the official logo of Slough Council and was signed by Bagley Ahmed Singh, a made up name,.
The leaflet's inflammatory language contained racial slurs and criticised the council, which is calling on residents to ignore it.
A spokeswoman said: "We can't imagine anybody would believe that this is from the Slough Borough Council, bearing in mind the nature of the language used.
"It's obviously designed to wind people up and has failed miserably."
