AN off-licence owner has had his licence revoked after being caught selling beer to underage drinkers and counterfeit wine.
Avtar Singh, of Alexandra Wines, in Chalvey Road West, who was recently fined £675 and ordered to pay costs of £1,367 for selling counterfeit wine, will no longer be able to sell alcohol unless he appeals against the decision within 21 days.
His licence was revoked by Slough Borough Council's licensing sub-committee on Wednesday after council officers complied a damning dossier of information and requested a review of the premises licence.
