A HIGH street nightclub, described by a police officer as the worst bar he has seen, has lost its licence.
RABZ Nightclub, in Slough High Street, had its licence revoked at a licensing sub-committee meeting this morning.
The club's owner, Majad Hussain, did not attend the meeting. He has 21 days to appeal the decision.
The application to revoke the licence was made by Thames Valley Police. In its report police sergeant Andy Hewitt said the club was the worst premises he had visited in more than 15 years service.
Debie Pearmain, police licensing officer, said: "In more than 10 years of working as the police licensing officer, and dealing with more than 1,000 premises, I have never experienced such issues and lack of control within such a short time of opening."
The 106-page police report reveals instances of disorder and fighting, intelligence of drugs, irresponsible drink promotions and a 'complete lack of control' by the management.
