Police release e-fit of wanted man
POLICE have released an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with a burglary and assault in Slough Trading Estate.
Three men were seen getting out of a silver or metallic blue Audi A4 at the rear gates of the Logistics UK compound, in Buckingham Avenue, Slough.
Two of the men used a large sledge hammer to smash the glass window to the loading bay, removing items including computer hard drives during the incident at around 10.45pm on 15 May.
When police arrived at the scene the men trapped the leg of an officer in the car door, before driving away down the A4.
Slough CID Det con Jennifer Marsh said: "This was a serious incident which left a police officer with crush injuries to his leg."
Earlier in the day of the incident a man was seen by an employee looking through the glass window of the loading bay and, when challenged, claimed he was looking for a friend who worked on the site.
Police think this man, who was described as black, 6ft with a slim build with yellow teeth and thick lips, wearing a dark hooded top and tracksuit, could have been involved in both incidents.
