UPDATE: Man charged with attempted murder in connection with stabbing
A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing.
Matthew Poole, of Hampshire Avenue, Slough, was charged with attempted murder last night.
He was charged in connection with an incident in Alton Place, Hampshire Avenue, at 12.30am on Wednesday where a 38-year-old man was stabbed.
He was found with several stab wounds by police and taken to hospital, where he remains in intensive care.
Mr Poole is due to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court this morning (10/8).
