POLICE have released a description of the man wanted in connection with the stabbing of a teen.
A 19-year-old man was found with slash wounds to the neck in the grounds of East Berkshire College’s Langley College in Station Road at around 1.40pm on Wednesday.
The teen was remains in Wexham Park Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was involved with an altercation with another man who police believe knew each other.
The offender is described as black Somalian, aged around 18-years-old, 5ft 7ins, with a chubby build.
Det Insp Nicola Hurdley said: “Incidents of this nature are extremely rare in the Slough area and our detectives are now carrying out enquiries to understand the circumstances that led to this incident.
“We believe the victim knew the attacker, so this was not a completely random incident.
“I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and can provide us with information around this incident, or who may have seen the offender prior to this or after he left the scene.” For more reaction, pick up a copy of tomorrow’s Observer
