PUPILS dressed up as pirates and planned their escape from a desert island as part of science week.
Youngsters aged from four to seven at Godolphin Infant School, Slough, made boats to escape from an island on Friday last week (4).
It was part of an activity-packed week at the Warrington Avenue school celebrating Science Week.
Teacher Aisha Mehar said: “We chose the theme of a desert island rescue where each class was stranded on a different island. Pupils had to build a raft using different materials to get off the island.” She said pupils got to take part in lots of experiments, including making a mini volcano, adding: “They were really excited about it and had a really good week.”
