AN ICONIC mascot visited a Slough store to launch a new service.
Spud the Dulux dog visited Wickes, in Farnham Road, on Monday last week (7/4) as Dulux launched its new paint mixing service at the store.
The famous dog who has been the company’s mascot for 50 years, was on hand to meet people and pose for pictures.
A Dulux spokesman said: “The Dulux Dog was hugely popular with all ages. People were coming in from all over the area as news spread about him being there.
“Hundreds and photographs were taken with many kids cuddling the big, fluffy dog, and both the dog and the children were as good as gold.
“It was a great way to launch our new paint mixing system.” The new service will enable staff to mix thousands of colours in a variety of finishes and pack sizes to suit any room and taste.
