A 35-YEAR-OLD homeless man has been charged with attempted murder.
Piotr Pokojowcyk, of no fixed abode, was charged by detectives on Sunday in relation the assault of a women at a property in St Pauls Avenue, Slough, on Saturday.
The victim was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, with neck injuries after the alleged assault at around 8.20pm.
Police said she is in a stable condition. Mr Pokojowcyk was arrested shortly after the incident and held in custody overnight.
He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court this morning (21).
