WRONGLY marked road signs are to be replaced after empty bus lanes were frustrating drivers in Slough.
The signs in Farnham Road are due to be replaced to allow peak-time-only lane access to buses, taxis, motorcyclists and cyclists between 7am and 10am, and 3pm and 7pm, as originally intended, by the end of next week.
The signs, put up in April, suggest only buses can travel in these lanes. A spokeswoman from the council said: “Occasionally there are mistakes made on signs and we look to replace them as soon as possible.
“We hope motorcyclists weren’t inconvenienced too much by this small error.”
