A PUBLICAN has picked up an award for going above and beyond the line of duty to promote real ale.
Lee Homan, landlord of the Red Cow pub, has won the David Howard Award for Publican of the Year for 2014.
It is given out by the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead CAMRA group to recognise the publican who has done the most to promote real ale in the area.
The pub, in Albert Street, Slough, has also been included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 2015.
