Garden waste bins will not be emptied in Slough from Saturday to March 1.
Slough Borough Council suspends the service during the winter months because less green waste is generated.
Nikki Patefield, from the waste and recycling team, said: “As the year draws to a close there isn’t as much grass cuttings or foliage to dispose of and people tend to spend less time in their gardens, so the greens bins aren’t being filled.
“However, for those people who do continue to potter throughout the winter months, please compost whatever you can or take it to the household waste and recycling centre in Chalvey.”
