A FIRE has torn through the majority of a Slough home with the circumstances surrounding the blaze still under investigation.
The roof and first floor of a three bedroom semi-detached house in Carlisle Road have been completely destroyed in the blaze which started at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
The ground floor has been damaged by falling debris and water after firefighters from three stations tackled the blaze.
Firefighters stopped the fire from spreading to other properties using jets, hose reels and breathing apparatus in the operation.
No one was hurt in the blaze as the rented property was empty at the time.
Fire crews have now left the scene but an investigation into the cause of the fire has begun with it thought its origins may be suspicious.
