FAMOUS tales will be retold as open air theatre returns to a National Trust site.

Cliveden will welcome back Illyria, a leading theatre group, to perform classic Roald Dahl and Shakespeare stories.

The site, in Cliveden Road, Taplow, will host Danny Champion of the World on Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26 with performances from 2-3.30pm on both days and from 6-7.30pm on Thursday.

On Saturday, August 27, the group will present A Midsummer Night's Dream, from 7-9pm and will be joined by The Lord Chamberlain's Men on Saturday, September 3 for a performance of Much Ado About Nothing to commemorate 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare from 7-9pm.

Bring a picnic along and enjoy the surroundings, and the Doll's House Cafe close to the performance area will be open for light refreshment from 10am-5.30pm.

Tickets cost £14 for adults for Danny Champion of the World and £16.50 for the other two productions, and all children aged between three and 16 will cost £10 for all three shows. The price includes admission fee.
