SLOUGH Under-15s showed their senior club members how it is done with a 24-17 win against Milton Keynes in a friendly match.

The Greenies welcome Milton Keynes for a Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier fixture this Saturday.

And the young Slough stars took the opportunity to put on a show of their own at Tamblyn Fields on Sunday.

The hosts made a strong start with an immediate try for Dan Harris before a well-worked lineout led to Ryley Vanstone muscling his way over.

Moments later, Harris went over again, this time kicking the extras for a 17-0 lead.

Milton Keynes replied with two quick tries in quick succession, finishing the first-half five points behind at 17-12.

The second-half saw some dogged defending from both teams, neither side gaining much ground until the tail end of the match.

Some good work from Milton Keynes’ forwards took them over the line to level the scores.

Three minutes later, and with seconds to go, a battling Slough pushed man-of-the-match Ilyses Tirech over the line to score. Harry Turner converted for a Greenies victory.
