BURNHAM have announced former professional footballer and ex-Millwall boss Dave Tuttle as their new manager.
Tuttle is Blues' third new boss already this season after Mark Tallentire and Paul Mulvaney, the latter stepping down but continuing to work as a coach at The Gore.
Tuttle has had an illustrious career in football having started at Tottenham Hotspur, followed by spells at Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Millwall. He also went on to manage Millwall.
Burnham chairman Gary Reeves said: "I speak on behalf of the board when I say that Dave`s appointment as first team manager is not only a positive stride forward for the club, but also an very exciting one.
"Dave comes from a solid football background, a large part of which has been spent both playing and managing in both professional and non-league football.
"He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will only benefit Burnham, and Dave is relishing the challenge ahead.
"We at Burnham are very excited by this appointment and Dave fully understands what we are trying to achieve, and where we want to go.
"We want to try and drive back up the Division One South & West table after what has been a disappointing campaign so far."
Burnham suffered a 3-0 defeat away at Larkhall Athletic on Saturday. The Blues return to The Gore for the visit of Mangotsfield United this Saturday (3pm).
