MAIDENHEAD United sit ninth in the early-season National League table after drawing 1-1 with Ebbsfleet in a game they should have won on Saturday.

The in-form Dave Tarpey came close to scoring twice early on, while Harry Pritchard also volleyed over.

However, it was Pritchard who put the home side in front on 25 minutes as his cross-cum-shot nestled in the corner of the Ebbsfleet net.

The Magpies should have extended their lead before the break, but Sean Marks and Jake Goodman were denied by fine saves.

And they were left to rue those missed chances as a second-half Luke Coulson strike earned the visitors a share of the spoils.

Maidenhead United visit Barrow on Saturday (3pm) and then welcome Leyton Orient to Rork Road on Bank Holiday Monday (3pm).

Windsor FC

WINDSOR FC picked up their first Hellenic League Premier Division win of the season with a 5-2 success at Oxford City Nomads on Tuesday night.

The visitors made a sensational start and were 2-0 up inside five minutes, Nadir Shafi and Paul Coyne the goalscorers.

Shafi added a third shortly after, and Barry Hayles made it 4-0 on the half-hour mark.

Joash Nembhard scored a fifth on 79 minutes, and despite Udoka Godwin-Malife and Ahmed Farah adding late consolations, Windsor were deserved winners.

On Saturday, Haydon Clack scored the equaliser as Windsor drew 1-1 at Royal Wootton Bassett.

Windsor host Fairford Town on Saturday (3pm) and Ascot United on Monday (3pm).

Burnham FC

BURNHAM suffered a disastrous 8-0 home defeat to Brackley Town Saints in the Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday.

They are at home to Abingdon United on Saturday and travel to Flackwell Heath on Monday (3pm).

Holyport FC

HOLYPORT lost 3-0 at Holyport in Division One of the Hellenic League. They will try and bounce back at Sandhurst Town on Saturday (3pm), before hosting Chalfont Wasps on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Cookham Dean FC

COOKHAM Dean sit second in the Premier Division of the Thames Valley League after beating Wraysbury Village 5-2 on Wednesday and Woodley United Royals 3-0 in their season-opener on Saturday.

Wraysbury had previously blown a two-goal advantage as they drew 2-2 with Woodcote Stoke Row, while it has been a bad start for Taplow United, who lost 3-1 at home to Wright & Unity Sports, and 2-1 at Newbury.
