NEIL BAKER has called on the whole community to get behind Slough Town when their FA Cup adventure continues this Saturday (3pm).

Slough welcome Folkestone Invicta to Arbour Park in the fourth qualifying round having already beaten Berkhamsted, Dulwich Hamlet and Poole Town to reach this stage of the competition.

Bostik Premier Division club Folkestone have seen off Greenwich Borough, Tooting & Mitcham United and Aylesbury United, but have suffered defeat in their last two league matches.

Baker admits the clash is a one-off cup tie where anything can happen, but he hopes a large crowd will turn up to show their support to The Rebels.

Speaking to the Observer, the joint-manager said: “We want a fantastic crowd to get behind the players because it’s a massive game for us. We want to get everyone behind the lads and try to get 1,000 people there.

“We have a number of reports on them and spoken with five different managers who have played them recently. We will have lots of information on them but this is a one-off cup game and anything can happen.

“Folkestone will come and try to win the game and so will we. It’s a game of chance really. We know we will have to be on our game because we now know what can happen if not.

“We know Folkstone will be decent and come here to give it a go, so we know it will be a tough afternoon.”
