WINDSOR have suffered a second consecutive defeat in the Hellenic Premier Division after a 3-2 loss against Brimscombe & Thrupp on Saturday.

A goal on debut from Matty Woods gave Windsor the lead on 11 minutes, before keeper Hugo Sobte (pictured inset) saved an Ollie Pitts penalty midway through the first half.

Windsor captain Keiron Knight missed a penalty to double the lead 10 minutes after the break at Stag Meadow.

Sam Blackie equalised for Brimscombe & Thrupp on 57 minutes but the visitors were level for just a matter of seconds before Woods put Windsor back in front.

Blackie the completed his hat-trick with goals on 75 and 83 minutes to secure all three points for the away side.

The defeat leaves Windsor in ninth position in the league table ahead of a trip to eight-placed Longlevens this Saturday (3pm).

Windsor saw their Floodlit Cup tie away at Woodley United postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at Rivermead on Monday.

Chalvey Sports have returned to winning form in Division Two East with a 3-1 victory away at Aston Clinton on Saturday.

Goals from Aydn Coomber and Ryan Hazell plus an own goal gave the Stabmonks a clear lead after 36 minutes at Aston Clinton Park.

The home side pulled one back before the break but Chalvey held on for the win to move up to second place in the league table.

The Stabmonks turn their attention to the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy and a quarter-final tie at home to Newport Pagnell Town Reserves on February 3 (2pm).

Slough Town were left frustrated when their Southern Premier Division match at Biggleswade Town was postponed on Saturday.

The pitch at the Carlsberg Stadium was declared waterlogged by the match referee.

The Rebels turn their attention to the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup and a quarter-final tie away at Bracknell Town on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Slough return to league action with a visit to Arbour Park from Merthyr Town on Saturday (3pm).

Holyport saw their Hellenic Division One fixture with Milton United postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Summerleaze on Saturday.

Port make the journey to Aldermaston this Saturday (3pm).
