DEMI-NICOLE Appleton won the Tredegar Welsh Bronze Medal Show with her pony, Islyn Arafa Don.
Appleton, aged nine, took part in the ridden class along with the Dorneyrow Welsh Cobs team ran by her Nan, Dawn Groom.
The Slough resident won the ridden class then went on to become mini champion.
All the champions of there sections came together at the end of the show to decide who was overall supreme champion, and Appleton won that with Islyn Arafa Don.
She was presented with her trophy by the local mare of Tredegar.
It was also a great event for the Dorneyrow Welsh Cobs, who won a class and championship title with there coloured stallion, London Pride.
A delighted Appleton said: “I can’t believe I’ve just won the supreme event. I love my pony - he’s very special.”
Her mother, Nicky Appleton, added: “They are a great combination and improve each time they’re out together. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.”
