Bobby Sher cracked another century for Slough.
SLOUGH let another winning position slip as they had a thrilling draw with Oxford at Upton Court Park.
The home side made a formidable 289-6 in their 66 overs with skipper Bobby Sher making 137 and Shaan Khan 59.
They then had Oxford on the ropes in their reply at 40-5 with that elusive first win within their grasp.
Zashan Arshad picked up three wickets and Nheem Amin two but then a 238 run partnership to send them close to triumph.
Sher removed Jamie Perkin for 118 and Graham Charlesworth finished on 115 not out as they fell just short on 282-6.
