SLOUGH Town FC’s away fixture at Hungerford Town was among a number of matches to have fallen victim to the weather on Saturday.

The Southern Premier Division clash at Bulpit Lane was called off following a morning pitch inspection. The surface was waterlogged after heavy overnight rain.

Slough welcome Kettering Town to Holloways Park this Saturday (3pm). The Rebels then turn their attention towards the League Cup and a third round tie away to Potters Bar Town next Tuesday (7.45pm).

In Southern Division One South & West, Burnham’s match at Didcot Town was also postponed.

The Blues host Yate Town at The Gore on Saturday (3pm).

Standing water on the pitch at York Road led to the postponement of Maidenhead United against Oxford City in the National South.

The Magpies travel to Margate this Saturday (3pm).

Windsor’s trip to Bedfont Sports in the Combined Counties Premier Division was called off after an 11am inspection.

Windsor travel to Raynes Park Vale on Tuesday (7.45pm) before returning to Stag Meadow for the game against Colliers Wood United on Saturday (3pm).

The only match to beat the wet weather was in Hellenic Division One East where Holyport managed a 1-1 draw away at Headington Amateurs.

Headington were gifted a lead in the second half when the Port keeper came out to clear the ball but missed leaving an easy tap into the empty net.

However, the away side rescued a point with a last-minute penalty kick. It is their four straight league draw this season.

Up next for The Port is a visit to Summerleaze from Old Woodstock Town on January 16.

Both Maidenhead and Windsor suffered defeat on their return to rugby action in South West One East following the festive break.

Maidenhead were surprisingly beaten 19-17 at bottom-of-the-table Swanage & Wareham, but they did fight back from 14-5 behind at half-time.

Maidenhead welcome Grove to Braywick Park this Saturday (2.15pm).

Windsor recovered from 13-0 down away at Witney but eventually lost 16-12. Windsor host Trowbridge on Saturday (2.15pm).

In the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier, Slough return from their Christmas break with a visit to Chipping Norton this Saturday (3pm).
