A NEW-LOOK Eton Wick comprehensively beat a strong Windsor Reserves team 4-0 to move up to fifth place in the East Berkshire Premier Division table on Saturday.

Windsor featured Travis Richardson-Hodge and Chris Jenkins from their first team, whilst Eton included five recent additions and played a high-tempo 4-4-2.

The away team went into the break three goals ahead thanks to a brace from Dean Isernia and one from Craig Kelly.

Eton did not let up in early on in the second period and Kelly put his side four goals up, and possibly out of sight.

From then on, The Wick produced a disciplined performance as Windsor’s intensity and ambition dropped away.

Maidenhead Town Reserves continue to exceed all expectations in their inaugural season as the sit top of the Division Three table.

However, with good results comes greater expectations and so despite securing a 1-0 win away at Falcons there was a sense of disappointment in the overall performance.

Falcons created a couple of chances early on but a wonder strike from recent signing Chip Duncan gave Maidenhead the lead.

Duncan chested down a high-clearance and dispatched an unstoppable volley into the top corner.

Falcons dominated possession in the second period and went close to finding an equaliser when an effort crashed back of the post.

Maidenhead also had their share of chances, Matt Atasoy saw a good effort come back off the crossbar.
