REAL Milan have progressed into their first ever Bob Smith Trophy final after a 2-1 win against Windsor Warriors in a highly contested semi-final on Sunday.

Milan took the lead midway through the first half at Burnham Grammar School as a slick counter-attacking move saw top scorer Calvin Morgan put through Conrad Joseph, who ran through to slot past the Windsor keeper. The strike was his first goal for the club.

Now on the front foot, the home side doubled the advantage in similar fashion. Morgan set up Joseph who finished expertly into the bottom corner with his left foot before the break.

Into the second-half and Milan had Jermaine Payne to thank after he made a smart clearance off the line as his team failed to clear a long throw.

The Warriors pulled a goal back midway through the second-half when keeper Hassan Hussain failed to deal with a cross and the ball slipped through into the back of the net.

The Bob Smith Trophy final was postponed on Thursday due to a wet weather forcast..

Maidenhead Crown now lead Division Two by 10 points following a 4-1 win away at second-from-bottom Slough Lions.

The Crown open the scoring when a ball over the top found Steven Eaton. His pace took him away from the nearest defender and he finished superbly, lobbing the ball over the keeper from inside the box.

Maidenhead extended the lead on 25 minutes when a cross from Steven Eaton found the un-marked Kenny Eaton, who found the back of the net with a great header across goal.

Slough were allowed a way back into the match as a low shot from 15-yards beat keeper James Graham and found the bottom left-hand corner.

In the second-half, Steven Eaton again beat his marker for pace and finished well with the onrushing keeper bearing down on him, the finish from within the box.

Eaton was left to complete his hat-trick at the far post with a simple header after great work on the wing to swing the ball across.

The game was over as a contest by this stage but there was still time for captain James Murdoch to have a goal disallowed after a good header from a free-kick.
