AT THE fourth time of asking after postponements due to the snow and one match being abandoned, George Green Juniors overcame a batting Windsor team 2-0.
George Green started strongly and were passing the ball around well when a through pass found Jack Timberlake bearing down on the keeper to slot home.
Windsor created a half-chance which struck the outside of the post but, Taylor Gale in the George Green goal and his defence held firm.
The second half started with George Green on top when Kyle Bird put Donnie Ngugi through on goal and he shot low under the Windsor keeper.
More chances were created and, with Reading Town awaiting the winners and watching on, the final whistle went with George Green Juniors comfortable winners.
The final will be held at Flackwell Heath on May 13.
George Green Juniors under-12 Reds won their respective league fixture 6-3 away at Totteridge to maintain their push for promotion.
Mason Hart and Emmanual Adjei both scored twice in the win with Callum Prieg and Zak Zaoui also on target.
