Jamie Jarvis
BEACONSFIELD SYCOB confirmed on Monday that the management team of Jamie Jarvis and Peter Scott resigned from the club.
Ex-boss Jarvis and first team coach, Scott steered The Rams from the disappointment of relegation from the Southern League Division One South & West to an unprecedented season of success winning the treble and securing an immediate return as champions of the Spartan South Midlands.
His goal of reaching a play-off place was achieved in his second season, finishing fourth in the division, only to be knocked out in the semi-final play-off.
Beaconsfield chairman, Bob Breen said: 'I am personally very sad to see Jamie (Jarvis) and Peter (Scott) leave the club. Beaconsfield SYCOB"s loss will undoubtedly be another club"s gain.
'Jamie has demonstrated in a very short space of time that he has the credentials to become a top class manager. In some ways he has been a victim of his own success. I say that because, unfortunately, the club has been unable to match Jamie"s on the field success. Like many non-League clubs, revenue is falling, in fact during the last two years, despite the success of the team there has been no growth in attendances at Holloways Park. As a result, the club has been forced to reduce what was a very modest budget compared to other clubs in the division.
'I fully understand and respect Jamie"s decision, I have enjoyed working with him during the last two years to bring stability to the club and understand his desire to move to a club with the resources to match his ambition. Together with his staff, he worked tirelessly in the interests of the club and for that I thank him and hope Beaconsfield SYCOB FC will always be very grateful to him.'
The club will now start the process to find a new manager and applications for the position should be sent to: The Secretary, Beaconsfield SYCOB FC, Slough Road, Beaconsfield, HP9 2SE.
Closing date for applications is Monday May 25.
