THANKS to a quirky twist of fate Slough Town have been drawn against manager Steve Bateman"s former club, Hemel Hempstead Town if they make it through to the first qualifying round.
The Rebels will travel to either Barking or Tring Athletic in the preliminary round with the winners to take on Southern League Premier Division outfit, Hemel.
Windsor & Eton will host Barkingside or Bowers & Pitsea and Burnham have also been given a home draw in the preliminary round against Hillingdon Borough or Kentish Town. Beaconsfield SYCOB will make the trip to Eton Manor or Stanway Rovers will all ties due to be played on Saturday, August 29.
The FA Trophy preliminary round has given Slough another Southern League Premier side as they will be at home to Mangotsfield United.
In what is sure to be an entertaining encounter, Division 1 South & West rivals Paulton Rovers travel to Stag Meadow to take on the Royalists with the Blues having to go to North Leigh and SYCOB host Aylesbury United. The ties are due to be played on Saturday, October 3.
