Peter Scott has helped hugely in Burnham's coaching.

JAMIE Jarvis praised centre-back Dave Tilbury after Burnham's goalless draw at home to Romulus on Saturday.

Tilbury has impressed massively since coming in for the suspended Paul Brett and Will Dunlop at the heart of the Burnham defence.

The Blues supremo also praised Tom Wllment and Adrian Sear but believes tha the rest of the team owe him a performance tomorrow (Saturday) in the FA Cup at home to Aveley who are second in the Ryman League Division One North.

"I'm happy that we didn't lose and happy with a clean sheet," remarked Jarvis. "Dave Tilbury, Tom Willment and Adrian Sear were outstanding but apart from that the rest of the players didn't show up.

"Dave Tilbury upped the tempo on Saturday and things are still going well."

It was a game of few chances but Burnham keeper Paul McCarthy made some smart stops and the defence put in some fine blocks and at the other end Dean Papali squandered a decent chance and Sear was denied by an excellent reaction save by Matt Sargeant.

Burnham hosts Aveley on Saturday and Jarvis wants to coninue their unbeaten run. he said: "They are going well and I watched them against London Colney on Wednesday. It will be a tough game and it's a shame we haven't got all the boys back but we will give them a game.

"Some of the boys owe me after Saturday and I've told them that. The main thing is that we get soem money for the club."
