RIVALRIES will be renewed on the opening day of the new Southern Premier Division season when Burnham host Slough Town on Saturday, August 9 (3pm).

Slough won promotion via the play-offs last year, whilst Burnham finished in 20th place in the Premier having won the Division One title the season before.

The two sides clashed in the Red Insure Cup back in January where, after a 3-3 draw, Burnham won through 4-2 on penalties.

Slough will then travel to cash-crisis club Hereford United on Tuesday, August 12 (7.45pm). Their first home fixture is against Banbury United four days later (3pm).

Rebels’ joint-boss Jon Underwood tweeted: “3 miles to Burnham on the opening Saturday followed by a 250 mile round trip to Hereford on the Tuesday night #sensible” Slough make the short trip to Chesham United on Boxing Day, and then host Hungerford Town on New Years Day.

Windsor FC will begin the new Combined Counties Premier season with two home matches.

Manager Mick Woodham will prepare his side for the visit of newly-promoted Spelthorne Sports on Saturday, August 2 (3pm).

Windsor then host Badshot Lea on Tuesday, August 5 (7.45pm).

Goalkeeper Carl Dennison faces a three match ban after his red card against Slough Town on Saturday.
