SLOUGH Town FC remain unbeaten in the Southern Premier Division after a 2-1 win against Banbury United on Saturday.

The Rebels took the lead at Holloways Park on 28 minutes when George Short flicked home a James Dobson free-kick.

Banbury hit back in the second period, Elias Katasouloudi looping a shot into the top corner on the hour mark.

But the home team were not to be outdone, Daryll Thomas securing the points on 74 minutes with a close range header.

Slough are due to host Biggleswade Town on Tuesday (7.45pm ko) before a trip to Paulton Rovers this Saturday (3pm).

Burnham FC’s losing start to the new season continued after a 4-2 defeat at newly-promoted Dunstable Town.

A Ben Herd penalty, an Elliot Sandy strike, and a Brad Hewitt own-goal saw Blues trail 3-0 after 25 minutes.

Nathan Poulton pulled one back on 39 minutes, sliding home after the ball was well worked out to the left.

Adam Watkins made it 4-1 to the home side just two minutes into the second-half at Creasey Park.

Substitute Aaron Couch restored some pride late on with a thunderous goal on 83 minutes.

Burnham travel to Frome Town on Wednesday (7.45pm), and then host Poole Town at The Gore this Saturday (3pm).

Windsor FC progressed from the FA Cup extra preliminary round with a 2-1 win at Brimscombe & Thrupp.

Captain Adam Kirby gave Windsor a 17th minute lead at The Meadow, heading home a Kyle Lucas corner.

Dan Molloy increased the advantage on 65 minutes when he headed in a cross from Kane Jones.

Brimscombe, of the Hellenic Premier, pulled one back from a corner via Karl Nash on 70 minutes.

Windsor will now host Godalming Town of the Southern League in the preliminary round on August 30.

Before then, Windsor welcome Cove to Stag Meadow this Saturday (3pm) in the Combined Counties Premier.

Holyport FC drew 2-2 at home to Abingdon United in their FA Cup extra preliminary round tie on Sunday.

The Villagers took the lead on 22 minutes when Sam Jones converted a Jerrell Gumbs cross at the far post.

Anaclet Odhiambo levelled for Abingdon after half an hour as he headed a Andrew Younie cross into the corner of the net.

The visitors took the lead on 51 minutes when Odhiambo gave keeper Sam Southerden no chance with a carefully placed shot.

But Holyport made it 2-2 as Tom Kaill floated a free-kick into the top-right corner of the net.

The replay takes place at Abingdon on Tuesday (7.45pm), with Holyport away to Milton United in the Hellenic Premier this Saturday (3pm).
