SLOUGH Town FC recovered from falling two goals behind to draw 2-2 at Paulton Rovers on Saturday.

Second-half goals from Adam Cornell and Reece Yorke helped The Rebels claim a point at Winterfield Road.

Paulton went ahead midway through the first-half when the unlucky Yorke diverted the ball past keeper Jake Somerville and into his own net.

The home side doubled their advantage on 28 minutes as John Davies hit low into the corner of the goal.

Slough pushed forward in the second-half and pulled a goal back when substitute Cornell headed home a Alex Witham cross.

The Rebels were on level terms just three minutes later as Yorke headed in a James Dobson corner.

Slough host rival club Chesham United on today (Monday 3pm ko), and welcome Histon to Holloways Park this Saturday (3pm).

Burnham FC suffered a fourth defeat in five matches as they lost 3-1 to Poole Town on Saturday.

Jack Hutchinson gave The Blues a 10th minute lead at The Gore, but that was as good as it got for the home side.

Josh O’Hanlon levelled before the break, and then Michael Walker made it 2-1 on the hour mark.

The result was sealed on 86 minutes Brad Hewitt’s back pass deceived his own goalkeeper.

Windsor FC held Cove to a 2-2 at Stag Meadow in the Combined Counties Premier on Saturday.

Cove struck first through Paul Coventry on 24 minutes, but Jason Sheeham levelled for Windsor before half-time.

The home side then had captain Adam Kirby sent off on 54 minutes.

They went ahead with a second Sheehan goal on 54 minutes, but Cove recovered when James King scored in the first minute of time added on.

Windsor are at Chertsey Town today, and then host Godalming Town in an FA Cup preliminary round tie this Saturday (3pm).

Holyport FC recorded their first win of the new Hellenic Premier season on Saturday as they won 2-1 at Milton United.

Jamie West gave ‘Port a first-half lead, but the home side equalised on the hour mark.

Jerrell Gumbs secured the win with a calm finish on 77 minutes.

Holyport host Binfield at Summerleaze today (3pm), and are not back in action again until September 9.
