SLOUGH Town FC saw their Southern Premier Division fixture away at Banbury United abandoned at half-time on Saturday.

The Rebels were leading 2-1 at Spencer Stadium when an incident took place in the walkway to the changing rooms.

It is alleged that the referee was hit by a plastic bottle thrown by a supporter, who was apprehended by club officials.

The police were called and, after initially delaying the start of the second-half, the match was abandoned with the referee unfit to continue.

Banbury took the lead on six minutes when Leam Howards slipped the ball past keeper Aleksandar Gogic from eight yards.

Slough restored parity as Scott Harris headed home a free-kick from wide on the right in the 14th minute.

The Rebels took the lead on 44 minutes when Harris neatly lifted the ball over Banbury stopper Leigh Bedwell from the edge of the box.

Slough travel to Biggleswade Town on Tuesday (7.45pm ko), and turn their attention towards the FA Trophy this Saturday.

The Rebels are away at Isthmian Premier Division club Margate in a first qualifying round tie (3pm).

Burnham FC ended a run of four consecutive league defeats with a 2-0 win against Dunstable Town on Saturday.

The Blues’ top goalscorer Nikke Kabamba slotted home on six minutes as a short corner caught Dunstable napping.

Kabamba headed home a second goal at The Gore in the 70th minute after a great cross from Nathan Webb.

Burnham host Frome Town on Tuesday (7.45pm), and then Hitchin Town in the FA Trophy this Saturday (3pm).

Maidenhead United FC moved up into sixth position in Conference South with a 2-0 win against Staines Town on Saturday.

The Magpies took the lead on 51 minutes when Ashley Nicholls calmly beat keeper Jack Turner with a cool finish.

The home side doubled their advantage in the 61st minute as Adrian Clifton headed in a Dave Tarpey corner.

Maidenhead travel to Wealdstone this Saturday (3pm).

Holyport FC recorded a fourth straight win in the Hellenic Premier Division with a 4-3 victory over Oxford City Nomads.

‘Port took a surprise lead on five minutes at Summerleaze when Fred Tripp headed home a Jerell Gumbs corner.

Oxford levelled in the 38th minute as a Louis Joyce shot across goal beat keeper Sam Southerden.

The visiting side made it 2-1 on 44 minutes when captain Lewis Gabbidon beat Southerden with a bullet header.

Holyport equalised on the stroke of half-time as Andrew Vine rounded the onrushing keeper and slotted the ball into the net.

Oxford went 3-2 ahead in the 52nd minute as Southerden could not keep out a Jose Luis Unzuetu effort.

The home side levelled again on 58 minutes when Vine placed a glancing header into the far corner from a Codie Sumner cross.

Vine completed his hat-trick and secured all three points on the hour mark as he headed in a Bradley Holt long throw.

Holyport make the short trip to Bracknell Town on Tuesday (7.45pm), and then host Cheltenham Saracens this Saturday (3pm).

Windsor FC did not have a fixture to fulfil on Saturday but are away at Westfield on Tuesday (7.45pm).

The Stag Meadow club host Hellenic Premier side Highworth Town in the FA Vase first round proper this Saturday (3pm).
