BILLY Jeffreys headed a late winner to give Slough Town FC a fortunate 2-1 victory against Hitchin Town on Saturday.

Hitchin were unlucky to leave Holloways Park without a share of the spoils, but the win extends Rebels’ unbeaten home record to four matches.

After an uneventful first-half, Slough took the lead on 50 minutes when Eddie Smith headed a Jake Parsons cross past keeper Charlie Hurlock.

The visitors were only behind for 10 minutes as Matt Lench applied the finish to a well-worked passage of play.

The Rebels secured all three points on 82 minutes when Jeffreys capitalised on hesitant marking to head home a Luke Knight free-kick.

Slough host Chippenham Town on Tuesday (7.45pm ko) in the Southern Premier Division and do not have a fixture to fulfil this Saturday.

Burnham FC suffered a 2-1 defeat against Weymouth on Saturday, the third meeting between the two sides in seven days.

Weymouth needed penalty kicks to knock The Blues out of the FA Trophy, and were lucky to leave The Gore with all three points.

The visitors took the lead in the second-half when Jordan Copp riffled into the net from the edge of the box.

Their advantage was short lived though as Romaine Walker ran half the length of the field and finished into the top corner.

Weymouth grabbed the win when Stuart Yetton latched onto a long clearance and lobbed keeper Alex Lynch.

Burnham turn their attentions to the Red Insure Cup on Tuesday (7.45pm ko) and a second round tie away at Marlow.

The Blues return to action in the Southern Premier this Saturday when Chippenham Town visit The Gore (3pm ko).

Maidenhead United FC did not have a fixture to fulfil last weekend but return to action this Saturday.

The Magpies welcome Metropolitan Police to York Road in an FA Trophy third qualifying round tie (3pm ko).

Windsor FC conceded a one-nil lead late on to lose 2-1 against Camberley Town at Stag Meadow on Saturday.

Kyle Lucas gave the home side a 43rd minute lead in the Combined Counties Premier Division fixture.

Emmanuel Quarshie levelled on 89 minutes, and then secured the win in the sixth minute of time added on.

Windsor travel to Ashford Town (Middx) on Tuesday (7.45pm ko), and then Mole Valley SCR this Saturday (3pm ko).

Holyport FC did not have a fixture to fulfil on Saturday and do not return to action until December 6.
