SLOUGH Town FC suffered a fourth consecutive league defeat after a 2-1 loss to Truro City on Saturday.

The Rebels improved upon recent performances but not quite enough to take a share of the points at Holloways Park.

Truro took the lead midway through the first-half when Isaac Vassell poked the ball into an empty net from six-yards.

Slough suffered a blow before the half-time interval as captain Adam Foulser was forced off with a hamstring injury.

Truro doubled their advantage two minutes into the second period when Vassell doubled his own tally for the match.

The Rebels set up a grandstand finish on 56 minutes as Scott Harris netted a penalty which was awarded for handball.

Slough grew into the match late on but created little in the way of chances and Truro left with all three points.

The defeat sees The Rebels drop one place to 16th position in the Southern Premier Division table.

Jordan Roberts made it 3-0 seconds later as he thumped a shot past keeper Alex Lynch from the edge of the box.

The defeat sees Windsor remain in fifth position in the Combined Counties Premier Division table.
