WINDSOR, Slough, Eton & Hounslow Athletics Club star Morgan Lake won silver in the Under-20 pentathlon at her very first Great Britain international in Cardiff.
Lake, 14, exceeded all expectations by narrowly missing out on the gold medal by just four points.
Her total of 3,953 points, however, was the fourth highest ever UK U20 performance, just below the standard Jessica Ennis set as a 19 year old.
The teen sensation set new lifetime bests in the high jump with a UK U17 best of 1.79 metres (m) and an eight second personal best in the 800m with a time of two minutes 26.55 seconds (2:26.55).
Lake also ran 9.10 over 60m and threw 11m32 in the shot put.
