MAIDENHEAD have recorded an impressive seventh home win on the bounce this season following a 38-14 victory over rivals Windsor on Saturday.

The Braywick Park outfit have not tasted defeat on their own artificial surface since mid-November, and remain in fifth place in the South West One East table.

For Windsor, it was a fifth straight loss on their travels though the team are still in eighth position.

Ryan Long and Frank O’Keefe scored tries for Maidenhead in the first-half, with Tom Finnie successfully converting both.

In the second-half , the home side extended the advantage with tries from Finnie, captain Myke Parrott, Christoph Bart and Alex Calinna. Finnie added two more conversions.

Rhys Davies and replacement Kit Brunswick touched down for Windsor late on in the match with Jack Gaylor booting the extra points.

Maidenhead return to action away at third-placed Newbury Blues on April 2. Windsor host second-in-the-table Salisbury.

Drifters remain in the relegation spots in Southern Counties North after a 12-10 defeat away at Bletchley on Saturday.

George Coombes scored a try in the reversal and Drifters did bag a losing bonus point.

The Farnham Common-based club host Buckingham on April 2.

In the BBO Premier, Slough were beaten 41-24 away at Tadley.

Michael Spandley scored a pair of tries for The Greenies, with Robbie Morrison and Kevin Dunne also touching down. Dunne added two conversions.
