SLOUGH recorded their biggest win of the season in the Berks & Bucks & Oxon Premier when beating Tadley 57-25 at on Saturday.

Buoyed on from their victory in the Bucks Bowl semi-finals the previous week, the Greenies proved too strong for their county rivals in an eight try win at Tamblyn Fields.

The home team led 20-10 at the half-time interval with tries from Curtis Blanchard, Robbie Morrison and Matt Fenwick.

Max Miles was successful with one of his three conversion attempts, and he kicked a penalty.

Morrison touched down twice more in the second-half to complete his hat-trick, with Miles kicking the extra points plus two penalties.

Scores from Aaron Bryant and James Flischer went unconverted, but the bonus point win was enough to move Slough up to sixth position in the league table.

The Greenies now have a rest week ahead of the Bucks Bowl final away at rivals Drifters on Saturday December 4 (2pm).

Drifters booked their place in the final with a 24-11 victory away at Chesham. The match also doubled up a league fixture with the away side taking the points.

Rob Wills scored twice in the win, with Kyle Knight and Mat Brown also touching down.

Drifters travel to play Crowthorne this Saturday (2.15pm).

Phoenix remain bottom of the table following a narrow 22-20 defeat at home to Abingdon.

Jason Townsend scored a brace with captain Tom Porter also touching down. Townsend kicked two of his conversion attempts while Nigel Coltman added a penalty.

Phoenix have a tough match away to top of the table Swindon College Old Boys this Saturday.
