DRIFTERS recorded their biggest win in the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier this season with a 66-7 victory against Risborough on Saturday.
The win at One Pin Lane means there is now a six-point gap back to Hungerford in third place and moves Drifters closer to consolidating second position in the league table.
Olly Ashton was the star on show with a hat-trick of tries, while Matt Brown bagged a brace. There were also tries from Sam Hawkridge, Brad Parker, Stuart Ashton, Josh White and Matt Rabiasz.
Up next for Drifters is a journey to third-bottom Abingdon on Saturday February 18.
Slough suffered a 43-3 home defeat at the hands of Swindon College Old Boys in the Southern Counties Senior Vase semi-finals on Saturday.
The Greenies return to league action with a trip across Berkshire to Hungerford this Saturday (2.15pm).
Phoenix did not have a fixture to fulfill last weekend but host Risborough in a must-win bottom of the table clash at Institute Road on Saturday (2.15pm).
In the Southern Counties Junior Vase semi-finals, Farnham Royal were beaten 33-17 at home to Berkshire Shire Hall.
The Royals try scorers were Adam Barley, Stanlee Wilson, Tony Ward and Ben Coppins.
Farnham return to action in the BBO Championship on Saturday with a trip to Chipping Norton (2.15pm).
Both Maidenhead and Windsor did not have a fixture to fulfil last weekend but return to action in South West One East on Saturday.
Maidenhead host Witney while Windsor go to Oxford Harlequins.
