SLOUGH Jets head coach Craig Moran has completed a deal to bring Jamie Line back to The Hangar for the New Year.

The Luton-born forward made his senior debut in the 2005/06 season with Bracknell Bees, before making 38 English Premier Ice Hockey League appearances the following year.

He made his international debut by playing five times for Great Britain at under-18 level, before securing a two-way contract with Basingstoke Bison in 2007, where he made seven appearances and won five more caps.

After 35 appearances for Bracknell in the 2008/09 season, Line made a mid-season move to the then play-off champions Slough Jets, where he started 21 times.

He followed former coach Steve Moria to Basingstoke for the 2009/10 campaign, making 50 appearances before agreeing a two-way contract with Milton Keynes Lightning.

After a short spell with the Peterborough Phantoms last year, Line to a break from the game to concentrate on life away from the ice, but he is now ready to continue his hockey career.

Slough supremo Moran, pictured, said: “I’m pleased that Jamie will be wearing a Jets jersey again for the rest of the season.

“He’s a hard working forward who never gives up and I know he will bring a lot to the team. I’m looking forward to working with him in 2014.” Line could make his Jets debut this Saturday when they welcome Telford Tigers to The Hangar (6.30pm face/off). They also go to Guildford Flames this Sunday (6pm).
