FORMER Slough Jets player-coach Steve Moria is set for a return to The Hangar for the game against Telford Tigers on Saturday, March 15.

Moria, who spent three-and-a-half seasons at Slough and guided them to success in the 2008 play-offs, will be back to showcase his Mo19 leisure wear range.

He retired from ice hockey in 2012 and was honoured with a testimonial match in August that year leading up to the launch of Mo19.

Since then demand has increased for the distinctive hockey and leisure wear range, which has been supported by many rinks and skaters around the country.

There will be a selection of Mo19 merchandise available to buy at the game and orders for items in any available size or colour can be taken.

A ceremonial puck drop will take place before the game and Moria, the Slough Sports Personality of the Year in 2009, will present the man-of-the-match awards.

He said: “I’m looking forward to returning to The Hangar where I enjoyed playing for many seasons. I have met a lot of great people in Slough which I hope to see on the night.

“My aim is to develop the Mo19 brand and see many hockey people throughout the UK and worldwide wearing the gear.

“I’m hoping to have friends and ex-players attend the match so it should be a fun night.” Jets’ director of operations, Steve English, added: “We’re honoured that Steve will be coming to Slough on his Mo19 leisure wear tour, and hope that hockey fans will turn out to support him.

“Steve is still a huge part of the hockey community and we are looking forward to this exciting night.” Ticket prices start from just £6.50 and there will be a £1 discount for any supporter wearing an item from the Mo19 leisure wear range.
