Stefan has recruited 80s and 90s legends Nathan Bowman, Neil Browne and Russell Stevens while Craig’s additions are Joe Greener, Stephen Wall and Dan Prachar.

Bowman was a forward who enjoyed a couple of seasons playing for the Jets in 89/90 and 90/91. He played 36 games with 4 penalty minutes.

Browne represented his country in two different seasons at Under 20 level while playing at Streatham and then joined the Jets.

He played three seasons until 1990 and was a hard working winger with a rocket shot. He played 74 games, returning of 46+42 for 88 penalty minutes.

High Wycombe-born Stevens has continued to play the game up until last season where he was with the Streatham Redskins.

Now aged 32, he was only 17 when he made his Jets debut in the British National League. Spread across three seasons, he played 58 games, posting numbers of 4+3 with 20 penalty minutes.

Greener is a former Jets club captain who lifted the 2012 Play-off trophy with the Jets under ex-coach Doug Sheppard.

He was just 12 when he made his first appearance with his current club, Basingstoke Bison, and came to the Jets in 2009/10 from Bracknell Bees after spending time in the States. His most successful seasons points wise came in his three years at the Hangar, with 157 games yielding 53 goals 165 assists and his physical play saw him rack up 218 penalty minutes.

Stephen Wall continues to play in the EPIHL with the Milton Keynes Lightning, having spent time with the Jets between 2005-2007.

Dan Prachar played a single season with the Jets in the Ninties.

Organiser Mark Denholm said; “Since the sad news of the ending of the Jets as a top flight club, the huge show of support for this game from the entire hockey community has been amazing.

“Players have not only agreed to play when asked but have also asked to play and I’m sure it will be a great day’s summer hockey.

“Many of the players will also be joining us for the evening celebration too so I’d like to thank them all for giving up their days to honour the Jets and help us raise money for SPICE and the Lymphoma Association.” The latest recruits join the six players already signed up. Stefan has drafted in Jason Reilly, David Heath and Mark Howell, while Moran has signed up Nick Chinn, Brian Biddulph and Joe Ciccarello.

The legends match takes place at Absolutely Ice on July 19.
