IN A see-saw battle, the Slough Jets overcame the Peterborough Phantoms 3-2 on Saturday.

The shots rained in on the visitors goal in the opening period but the Jets only had one goal from Blaz Emersic at 5.46 to show for it.

After a penalty free period the second was more disrupted and the Pantoms levelled the scores at 31.36 through Joe Miller despite the home side dominating again.

Peter Poljacek restored Slough's advantage at 44.02 but again Peterborough would not lie down and eualised through Maris Ziedins on a powerplay with 52.43 gone.

The Jets continued to press and Emersic grabbed his second of the game at 56.38 which proved to be the winner.

The Jets could not back up that win at the Guildford Flames on Sunday as they went down 4-2 despite goals from Blaz Emersic and Peter Poljacek.
