SLOUGH Town recorded their first pre-season win when beating Godalming Town 8-0 on the artificial surface at Langley Academy on Saturday.

The Rebels led 3-0 at the half-time interval with a brace from Harrison Gilkes and a goal by summer signing Charlie Moone.

Godalming were formerly managed by Slough bosses, Neil Baker and Jon Underwood, and The Rebels stuck five more goals past them after the break.

Striker Lee Barney helped himself to a four-goal haul while Sean Fraser also got his name on the scoresheet.

Slough were twice pegged back in a 2-2 training game draw with Bracknell Town at Langley Academy last Thursday.

Next up for The Rebels is the Hendon Invitation Cup at Silver Jubilee Park this Saturday and Sunday.

The semi-finals take place on Saturday with Hendon against Carshalton Athletic at 1pm, followed by Farnborough versus Slough at 3.30pm.

On Sunday, the first game at 1pm will be between the two losing semi-finalists, with the two winners taking part in the final at 3.30pm.

Admission will cost £5 per day for adults and £1 per day for Under-18s, and it will entitle you to watch both games.

Windsor continued to check out the playing squad available to them when using 20 players in a 1-0 win against Virginia Water on Saturday.

Luke Wretam scored the only goal of the game at Stag Meadow in the 36th minute.

Windsor take on Henley Town at Keates Lane, Eton this Tuesday and meet Chesham United on Saturday (3pm).
