SLOUGH TOWN have extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to three matches when rescuing a point with two late goals in a 2-2 draw against Kings Langley on Saturday.

Kings Langley are a determined side and came close to a surprise win at Arbour Park, catching the Rebels out with two wonder strikes before the home team fought back.

The deadlock was broken on 66 minutes when Mark Nisbet failed the clear the ball with a header. It gave Jerry Amoo the chance to shoot at goal and he caught his shot well, directing it over the head of Mark Scott and into the far corner.

The visitors doubled their lead with a second wonder strike, this time from David Hutton in the 81st minute. Hutton caught the ball perfectly on the half-volley from 40 yards and, with Scott off his line, his shot sailed into the back of the net.

However, Slough stuck to the task and substitute Warren Harris gave them a lifeline in the final minute of normal time. He drilled in after neatly play from loanee Elijah Adebayo.

Harris then came close to levelling the scores when his cross-come-shot clipped the outside of the post.

The Rebels suffered a blow when Nisbet was sent off for a second caution, but the equalising goal came in the seventh minute of time added on.

Scott, up from the back, almost made contact with the delivery from James Dobson, but the ball fell to Charlie Moone to divert it past Xavi Comas.

The point means Slough remain in third position in the Southern Premier Division table though they are now six points behind leaders Leamington.

The Rebels travel to Stratford Town on Tuesday (7.45pm) and, 24 hours later, head to Northwood in the League Challenge Cup (7.45pm).

Simon Dunne and Dobson were cautioned in the draw which will prove costly as both will miss the FA Trophy match at home to Wingate & Finchley this Saturday (3pm).

Burnham failed to build on a rare win when losing 1-0 away at Longlevens on Saturday, leaving them bottom of the Hellenic Premier Division table.

The game's only goal arrived in the first-half when a frantic Blues clearance from their own goal like struck Brad Martin on the chest and snuggled into the net.

Burnham are at Thatcham Town on Tuesday (7.45pm) before returning to The Gore for the visit of Bracknell Town this Saturday (3pm).
