SLOUGH Town joint-manager Jon Underwood will not rule out making changes as the Rebels bid to get their promotion challenge back on track.
Slough were below par in recent defeats to Chesham United and St Ives Town, and means they have slipped down to fifth place in the Southern Premier Division table.
They trail Leamington by six points with two games in hand on the table toppers, but Underwood has challenged the Rebels to raise their game.
“We’ve had a conversation with the players and some know their levels of performance have not been to what we need and we will not rule out making changes this Saturday,” Underwood told the Observer.
“We need to be better collectively to find some form and get back into the play-off picture, that’s the minimum aim.
“We had hoped to get a reaction at Cinderford on Tuesday but that was taken away from us when the match was postponed (the pitch was waterlogged).”
Slough make the journey to Biggleswade Town this Saturday (3pm) where Underwood expects another tough match.
“We beat Biggleswade 3-0 earlier in the season but back then we were playing excellent football at Arbour Park and turned up expecting to win every game.
“Biggleswade are in better form now and nearly beat Weymouth when we watched them.
“We know them very well and know it will be a tough game, but we have to get a win and get back on track.”
